Jan Levinson studied piano and composition in New York and graduated from Bard College, where she worked with award-winning composer Joan Tower and The Da Capo Chamber Players.

In the early 1990s, Jan left the East Coast for Wyoming, where she discovered a new muse, nature. Inspired by the Grand Tetons, she created neoclassical works for piano & orchestral instruments.

Jan passed away in 2007. ... more
